Judy Moody M.D.

A moody day was coming.  It started to rain and Judy Moody was sick of rain!   She had to figure out a way to stay home. She called her mom to the room and said, "Mom I think I'm sick."

"Really, what's wrong," Mom asked.  "I'm sick of rain!"  Mom put her "cold" hand on Judy's head and said, "you don't have a fever."  Judy's mom didn't fall for the act and made her go to school.  Judy thought....... "Ok looks like I'm going to school without an umbrella, but I could use a shower." 

But I can skip school and go to the hospital... "well, I might."

So Judy went to school, and it wasn't a bad day after all. Class 3T was learning about bones icky, icky bones. Judy loved it! It was the start of a brand new day.  Judy was told it is Show and Tell.  Judy was glad she brought Stinks ugly little belly buttton and every one was impressed because "well it was awesome!"  Jessica Finch brought in a picture of her hamster and every one stared.  After Show and Tell every one started to vote for the most impressive item.  The most votes were on Judy and her very own brothers belly button.  Everyone wanted to buy it off of her but Judy said "NO"!  Stink was standing outside the door and said, "Hey! That's mine!  Give it back!"  "Give what?" said Judy.  Stink told her to give back his belly button but Judy said she didn't have it.  They argued back and forth and went on and on until Judy asked Stink why he was there.  Stink explained that he was going to the nurse because his throat hurts but he is scared of the skeleton in the nurses office.  Judy tells Stink the skeleton is fake but Stink still doesn't care because he thinks the skeleton is staring at him.  Judy agrees to go to the nurse with Stink and tells jokes until Stink forgets all about his sore throat.  When the nurse asks Stink what is wrong he said, "my tummy hurts?"  Judy said she thought it was his throat that hurt and Stink tells her that she made him laugh so hard now his stomach hurts.  The nurse took his temperature.  His temperature is very high!  Judy gasped.  Stink was scared.  They went home. His mom gasped because Stink had a high temperature.  She told him to stay home for at least a week.  Judy was unhappy!  She had to go to school and Stink had to stay home.  Judy had a fit because Stink didn't have to go to school, but she did.
